KNX presence & multi-sensor OEM

Presence detectors, multi-sensors and air-quality modules — the products that decide whether a “smart” building feels smart or feels broken.

Presence sensors OEM program
01

Sensing technology selection

PIR, mmWave (24/60 GHz) or hybrid, chosen by room type: office, corridor, bathroom, hotel room.

02

Detection pattern validation

Measured detection zones in a furnished test room, including small-motion and stationary-presence behaviour.

03

Lux & HVAC sensing

Calibrated lux thresholds, optional temperature, humidity, CO₂ and VOC sensing with documented accuracy.

04

Mounting & aesthetics

Ceiling flush, surface, 360° and corridor variants, with bezels matching your range.

How this product is actually built

A PIR sensor that switches the lights off while someone is reading is worse than no automation at all. Sensitivity claims on datasheets are measured in ideal conditions; a real office has glass walls, HVAC air movement and people who sit very still.

We test detection patterns in a furnished mock-up, calibrate the lux sensor, and choose between PIR, mmWave or hybrid sensing based on the room type you are selling into.

Questions

What brands ask before starting

PIR or mmWave?
PIR is cheaper and fine for corridors and bathrooms. For offices, meeting rooms and living areas where people sit still, mmWave or hybrid sensing is the only way to avoid lights switching off on people — it costs more per unit and saves you the complaints.
Can you run detection tests for us?
Yes. I test detection zones in a furnished room with a logged walk-test protocol, and hand over the measurement record — useful both for your own confidence and for tender documentation.
Do you build KNX-certified sensors?
Optional. A certified BCU with a well-tested application is enough for most projects; full certification matters when the product appears in specification documents.
What about false triggers from HVAC airflow?
That is a mechanical and algorithmic problem, not a marketing one — we adjust the lens/pet-alley mask, the hold time and the sensitivity curve, and verify with the air conditioning running.
