Comparing custom KNX panel manufacturers? Focus on certification route, ETS ownership, tooling title and MOQ — not only the glass finish in the brochure. We run panel programs where those answers are written before moulds are cut.
Lab-tested product certification, or a certified BCU with a tested application? Both can work; only one survives a specification dispute. See also what certification costs.
Whose name is on the database? Can you get your own manufacturer ID later without retooling the electronics?
Who owns the moulds after you pay? Is “MOQ 50” real, or will it jump at tooling? Our baseline is from 200 pcs per variant on paid, client-owned tooling.
Printing a logo on a public tooling design is not a manufacturer relationship — it is a rebadge. A custom panel program starts at mechanical and UI definition: glass or aluminium, icon set, backlight and haptics, then a working KNX stack on a development board, then the certification route, then tooling and pilot.
That path is documented on the KNX touch panel OEM program page (sizes, finishes, deliverables). Use this page when you are still selecting a partner; use that page when you are ready to discuss the engineering pack.

Deliverables, spec table and engineering FAQ for building the SKU.
Open knx-touch-panel-oem →Panels are often SKU one; actuators and gateways follow under the same owner.
KNX OEM China →Even a rough RFQ — markets, sizes, certified vs compatible, year-one volume — is enough for a feasibility view and a honest “build / rebadge / wait” recommendation.
